Functionality:
At OLP, we aim to provide storage solutions that assist our clients to get the most out of the products they purchase and to save space. We have designed many of our products to be multi-purpose and functional in today’s modern office environment. For example, moveable furniture can be rearranged to accommodate different activities and to meet business needs such as increased head counts or restructuring. OLP’s mobile caddy and mobile pedestals are perfect for these situations as they have castor wheels so they can easily be moved. OLP’s mobile caddy can be used for under desk storage or as an extended workplace storage unit, providing drawer, cupboard and filing space. OLP’s Trimline Pedestal and Mobile Caddy can also be transformed into a seat with the addition of a fitted cushion – ideal for hot-desk areas. Many of our products such as our tambour door cabinet are also available with accessories such as shelf dividers, file frames, reference shelves and planter boxes, catering for changing storage needs.
Performance:
We take great pride in knowing our products perform well. Our products feature important functional elements with performance and safety in mind. For example, our filing cabinets, mobile pedestals and mobile caddies all have a fifth castor wheel to increase their stability. These products also feature heavy duty double extension ball bearing runners to allow full access to each drawer and anti-tilt mechanisms for safety. OLP’s mobile shelving (Aislesavers) also feature anti-tilt mechanisms, as well as hard-wearing runner surfaces for smooth operating.
Longevity:
Product longevity is important for a number of reasons. First, it is more economical for the end-user and second, it reduces the number of products which end up in landfill. OLP source high-quality raw materials and steel for use in all its products. We also powder coat our products which helps protect against regular wear and tear. Powder coating is one of the most durable colour coatings available. It protects steel from corrosion, chips and scratches and provides a smooth and even finish across an entire surface which does not fade. Powder coating comes in a large range of colours, textures and effects. It is also environmentally friendly because it contains no solvents or VOCs, can be recycled and produces less waste than liquid coating. Powder coating also has reduced processing times and energy requirements.
Recyclability:
Additionally, we have designed our products so they can be easily disassembled for component re-use or recycling.
