The Victorian government has recently announced $2.7 billion in funding for building projects across the state, led by about $1.1 billion to build new schools and classrooms.
The funding has been put in place in response to the impact of COVID-19 to help boost the economy and keep Australians in jobs during these difficult times. Premier Daniel Andrews said he expected the $2.7 billion package to create 3700 construction jobs for Victorians out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic.
