OLP is committed to providing effective, customised storage solutions in a timely manner. This was highlighted in a job we recently completed for Point Cook College. The job involved the supply of 450 customised, Heavy-Duty Plastic Lockers, selected for their strength and ability to withstand harsh environments.
With an increasing number of students at Point Cook College, the school was looking to expand its locker fit-out to cater to the increasing demand. With the amount of space inside the school’s buildings already heavily restricted, Point Cook College required an external locker solution that would be capable of withstanding the harsh elements in Victoria. With the external areas of the school being publicly accessible outside of school hours, the lockers also needed to be capable of withstanding potential vandalism. Additionally, with the start of Term 1 2020 fast approaching, the school required the lockers to be installed prior to the students returning.
OLP’s Heavy Duty Plastic Lockers were identified as the perfect solution for this project. Made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a rigid and strong material, which is UV stabilised, water-resistant, vandal-proof and resistant to both extreme hot and cold temperatures. These HDPE lockers feature double skinned doors that are reinforced for additional strength and are capable of being cleaned with harsh chemicals without being damaged.
OLP also customised its lockers with coloured doors that matched Point Cook Colleges colours. The lockers were also supplied with stainless steel number plates for easy locker identification and locking mechanisms. OLP’s Heavy Duty Plastic Lockers come standard with a key lock or pad latch, but we are also able to supply a wide range of locking options including combination locks, RFID locks, fingerprint locks, and coin locks. For this project, we fitted the lockers with a high-grade stainless-steel plate with latch lock provision.
In total, OLP supplied 450 2-door Heavy-Duty Plastic Lockers. With a 20-year warranty, Point Cook College can rest assured knowing they have invested in a quality product that will provide the school with an adequate storage solution for many years to come. OLP worked diligently and efficiently over this project, ensuring all locker units were delivered and installed prior to the commencement of Term 1 2020.
