ON BRAND

Four easy tips to brand your clients’ office and create an inspiring working environment.

When it comes to creating a commercial space, branding should be a crucial factor in the decision making process. The office interior is, after all, an extension of their brand and can help foster their company’s culture and brand personality. To help you pull off the right look, tone and messages for your client, here are four key ways branding can be incorporated into your clients’ office interiors.

1.  True Colours Shining Through
Whether your client’s brand identity includes one or more corporate colours, try to include them in your suggested interiors. Incorporating their brand colours sets the tone for office and reflects their company’s brand personality. Keep it simple and tasteful though. A few hints of colour around the office is all that is required to achieve the right balance. Include a few coloured pieces of furniture, or some decorative items like artwork, vases and clocks. This can be supported by a feature wall, rug or carpet.

2.  A Definite Sign
Displaying noticeable signage on the exterior of your clients’ workplace is a must, but don’t forget to extend their branding to the inside of their office. Decals are an affordable option, allowing a logo, slogan or key messages to be applied directly to any office wall. Including motivational quotes and phrases across the walls as framed artwork or creative decals is an excellent opportunity to show off what their brand means. It also gives employees validation that the company they work for has value and purpose. If decals are too heavy- handed, the use of transparent frosted glass film on glass doors, dividers and walls is another great option for a more subtle approach.

3.  Moving quickly on Corporate Stationery
There’s no better way to portray brand consistency than to have a stationery set for every employee that features their branding. This could include anything from pens and pen holders to folders, notepads and binders. Branded stationery gives businesses a professional look and provide an easy way to get an edge over competitors.

4.    Show a little personality
What kind of personality does your clients’ brand have? Is it professional and sophisticated or casual and fun? To determine their brand personality, consider the type of clients they service. High-end clients expect to see classy décor while young, alternative clients may enjoy an office interior with vibrant colour and creative flair.
